Description
This grant is designed to help women who are certified scuba diving instructors further advance their underwater-related teaching and safety skills. Funding supports additional training that leads to certifications for teaching dive specialty courses or instructor qualifications in related fields such as CPR, O2, AED, First Aid, chamber operation, or equipment repair. Other post-instructor certification courses that enhance dive training safety or skills are also eligible. The grant covers course fees and necessary equipment for specialized diving or teaching new skills but does not cover travel expenses, insurance, or membership dues. Recipients are required to submit a report detailing how the grant contributed to their skill development.
