Description
The Mississippi Research Alliance (MRA), featured through Mississippi NSF EPSCoR, offers Instrumentation Use Vouchers to increase access to affiliated research resources. Vouchers cover materials and usage charges needed to conduct experiments using those resources. The program supports MRA’s broader goal of strengthening the capacity and capabilities of Mississippi’s research ecosystem through coordinated access to shared resources.
Established in 2024 through NSF EPSCoR funding, MRA seeks to catalyze sustainable growth of a knowledge-based economy through partnerships and investment in research and development. Voucher funding gives preference to early-career faculty and researchers without other sources of support. Its shared review process also considers scientific merit, future funding potential, use of MRA resources, student training opportunities, and budget appropriateness.
