Description
This grant supports multidisciplinary research to integrate climate-related exposures—such as extreme heat, air pollution, and drought—into the study of the human exposome, which encompasses all environmental, chemical, physical, biological, nutritional, and psychosocial exposures across the lifespan. Projects should advance methodologies for exposome data generation and analytics (including AI and machine learning), investigate biological mechanisms linking exposures to health, identify relevant biomarkers, and harmonize reporting. The call emphasizes inclusion of social sciences and humanities, robust data sharing, collaboration across sectors and countries, and the development of actionable knowledge for policymakers, healthcare professionals, and the public.
