Inter-Country Travel Grant supports Finnish institutions with travel for visiting U.S. Fulbrighters from elsewhere in Europe to exchange expertise and advance internationalization in higher education.

Description
The Inter-Country Travel Grant, funded and administered by the Fulbright Finland Foundation, helps Finnish institutions invite U.S. Fulbrighters from elsewhere in Europe for visits lasting no more than one week. Supported activities include lectures, consulting, workshops, evaluation or development projects, and other relevant outreach with wide impact. Visitors may be scholars, teachers, professionals, or advanced PhD students.
The program connects Finnish hosts with visiting expertise across higher education, research, non-governmental, governmental, cultural, and public health settings. It supports the Foundation’s goals of exchanging knowledge and professional talents between Finland and the United States and advancing the internationalization of Finnish higher education institutions. The grant funds travel between host cities, while local costs are arranged separately by the Finnish host and visitor.
