The Internal Audit Foundation administers this annual grant program through contributions to its Academic Fund. Formerly the IAEP Grant Program, it supports Internal Audit Academic Alliance institutions in building the educational foundation that helps today’s internal audit students become tomorrow’s professional leaders. The program’s international reach is reflected in its 2026–27 recipients across numerous countries.
Funding supports four areas: maintaining or advancing an institution’s Academic Alliance program, increasing student engagement with internal auditing, supporting an Academic Alliance advocate or graduate assistant, and developing educators’ practical knowledge. Depending on the category, activities include mentoring, curriculum development, study groups, student organizations, professional events, and educator development linked to improvements in internal audit teaching.
