    Description

The International Continence Society (ICS) Observership programme supports continence specialists of any profession to gain specialist bladder and bowel skills at expert centres. Short-term placements provide opportunities to learn from specialists in research, clinical practice or education, advancing multidisciplinary continence education and excellence.

The programme offers six placement types: Urodynamics, Neurourology, Clinical, Research, Conservative Management and Pelvic Pain. Applicants arrange their own host centre, except for Neurourology, for which ICS provides dedicated centres. Priority is given to members from less economically developed countries, allied and non-medical health professionals, and members in training. Applications are assessed on their merits and the funding available.
