The International Early-career Physiologist (IECP) Travel Awards, provided by the American Physiological Society, are designed to assist graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty living and working outside the United States with travel expenses to attend the American Physiology Summit. Up to 12 awards of $1,000 each are given annually to outstanding early-career scientists who are contributing to the Summit's scientific program. Recipients are required to attend the Summit and present their research, including a brief "elevator speech." The awards are intended to foster international participation and recognize scientific excellence among early-career physiologists.
