Description

The International Exchanges scheme from the Royal Society provides funding for UK-based researchers to initiate and develop new research collaborations with leading scientists worldwide. The program supports both one-off and bilateral visits, enabling the exchange of research staff, expertise, and ideas. There are two main routes: Global rounds (open to all countries/territories outside the UK) and Cost Share rounds (for specific partner countries where co-funding is available). The grant is designed to provide seed funding for new partnerships, gathering preliminary data, and developing innovative research ideas, with a strong emphasis on equity, diversity, and inclusion.
