Description
The International Four-Year Doctoral Partial Tuition (IDPT) Award provides tuition support for international doctoral students at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus. Administered by the College of Graduate Studies, it is available to incoming international PhD students and PhD transfer students. The award covers the difference between international and domestic tuition rather than providing a separate research project grant.
Support is available for up to four years (48 months) per awardee, subject to registration and academic-progress requirements. Funding is tied to doctoral study and ends when program requirements are completed. For students who advance or transfer from a UBC master’s program without completing that degree, the maximum support period is calculated from the beginning of their master’s program.
