Description
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) runs the International Market Access Grant to help businesses develop and carry out export strategies with less financial risk. It reimburses short-term or one-time, project-specific expenses intended to increase sales in markets outside the United States. Businesses new to exporting and experienced exporters can apply.
Applicants identify target countries and propose a cohesive strategy for growing export sales there. Eligible activities include trade shows and missions, marketing and promotion, export education, consulting services, and export credit insurance. The project should involve activities new to the applicant that would not be possible without grant funding.
