Description
The International Project Grants program, administered by the American Association of University Women (AAUW), provides targeted funding to AAUW International Fellowship alumnae who return to their home countries to implement community-based projects. These grants empower alumnae to leverage their academic expertise and leadership to address urgent, deeply rooted equity challenges—such as property rights, safe workplaces, and economic empowerment—for women and girls. Projects must be charitable, non-profit in nature, and cannot result in personal financial benefit for the applicant. AAUW prioritizes projects serving historically underserved or at-risk communities, with a strong emphasis on measurable outcomes, community engagement, sustainability, and alignment with AAUW’s mission of advancing gender equity.
