Description
The International Scholarship Program, administered by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), provides early-career interventional radiologists practicing outside North America with an opportunity to attend the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting. Now in its thirteenth year, the program aims to build global leadership, strengthen international collaborations, and advance patient care in interventional radiology worldwide. Scholars benefit from focused programming, networking, and a complimentary one-year SIR membership (including access to the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology). The scholarship is designed to partially defray the costs of meeting attendance, such as registration, course fees, airfare, and hotel, with the expectation that recipients or their local institutions will cover remaining expenses.
