Description
The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) International Scholarship Program helps physicians practicing outside North America attend the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting to learn from peers, build professional relationships and bring knowledge home to teach and enhance patient care. It supports meeting participation and focused programming before or after the meeting, including scholar groups hosted by affiliated international society members and leaders.
The program aims to strengthen international interventional radiology (IR), develop future leaders within partnered international societies and introduce U.S. members to technologies from outside North America. Scholars have opportunities to meet the SIR president and other society leaders. A complimentary year of SIR membership, including a subscription to the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, extends the educational benefits beyond the meeting.
