Description
This program, administered by the American Astronomical Society (AAS) with support from the National Science Foundation, funds round-trip airfare for individuals at US institutions to attend international scientific meetings. Special emphasis is placed on early-career researchers, scientists from smaller or underserved institutions, and those whose participation is especially significant for the US scientific community. In years when the International Astronomical Union (IAU) General Assembly is held, a dedicated deadline and application process is available for that event.
