Description
The American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) International Travel Grants remove financial barriers to participation in its Annual Meeting for investigators from low- and middle-income countries. Rather than funding research projects directly, these competitive awards support meeting-related travel and participation, providing access to scientific exchange, networking, and career-building opportunities in bone, mineral, and musculoskeletal research.
The ASBMR Fund for Research and Education administers the program in collaboration with the Development Committee, Ambassador Subcommittee, and Belonging, Opportunity, and Access Committee. Supported by individual donations, the fund provides grants for researchers in these fields and supports the development of the next generation of researchers.
