Description
The Internet Society Foundation's Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Events program funds the organization of United Nations IGF Secretariat-recognized National and Regional Initiatives (NRIs), Youth IGFs, and National/Regional Schools on Internet Governance (SIGs). The program aims to foster open, non-commercial, and inclusive multistakeholder dialogue on Internet governance issues, empower diverse actors with skills and knowledge, and support the development of future Internet governance leaders. Funding can cover event organization costs such as venue, catering, outreach, and participant support, but not equipment purchases. The program is aligned with the Foundation's mission to strengthen the global Internet through meaningful engagement and capacity-building.
