    Description

The Internet Society Fellowship Program is a 10-month learning and leadership experience for experienced Internet changemakers and emerging leaders. It combines pre-fellowship training, foundational leadership learning, dedicated mentorship, expert engagement, and participation in relevant Internet community events. Three tracks support work in Internet policy and community mobilization, connectivity and infrastructure, and Internet safety and security.

Each fellow designs and implements a six-month practical project addressing an Internet-related challenge in their community, country, region, or area of expertise. Projects translate learning into tangible results, such as policy briefs, research reports, training programs, workshops, technical resources, awareness campaigns, or operational guides. The program emphasizes locally grounded, achievable work that contributes to a stronger, more open, globally connected, and secure Internet, with regular progress reporting and final outputs demonstrating impact.
