Description
This is a comprehensive, one-year Interventional and Advanced Diagnostic Pulmonology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. The program is designed for physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited pulmonary or pulmonary and critical care fellowship. Fellows receive immersive, high-volume procedural training in both malignant and non-malignant airway, lung, and pleural diseases, with rotations in thoracic surgery, laryngology surgery, and lung transplant medicine. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on experience in advanced techniques (e.g., rigid bronchoscopy, cryotherapy, robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, airway stenting), supported by cadaver labs, simulation centers, and live animal labs. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the Interventional Pulmonology Certification Exam.
