    Description

This one-year fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida offers advanced training in interventional and diagnostic pulmonology. The program is designed for graduates of pulmonary or pulmonary and critical care fellowships, providing intensive exposure to both malignant and non-malignant airway, lung, and pleural diseases. Training includes rotations in thoracic surgery, laryngology, and lung transplant medicine, with a strong emphasis on high-volume, hands-on procedural experience in techniques such as rigid and flexible bronchoscopy, robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, airway stenting, cryotherapy, and pleural procedures. Didactic sessions, cadaver and animal labs, and a collaborative clinical environment prepare fellows for leadership roles and eligibility for the Interventional Pulmonology Certification Exam.
