Description
The Interventional and Advanced Diagnostic Pulmonology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is a comprehensive, one-year training program designed for physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited pulmonary or pulmonary and critical care fellowship. The fellowship delivers high-volume, hands-on procedural experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for both malignant and non-malignant pulmonary diseases. Training includes rotations in thoracic surgery, laryngology surgery, and lung transplant medicine, as well as robust exposure to complex airway procedures, diagnostic bronchoscopy, pleural interventions, and outpatient clinical practice. The curriculum emphasizes simulation and cadaver labs, research opportunities, and a structured didactic series, preparing fellows to become leaders in interventional pulmonology and eligible for the Interventional Pulmonology Certification Exam.
