Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports a three-month visit to University College Cork (UCC), Ireland, to collaborate with researchers in the College of Arts, Celtic Studies & Social Sciences. Scholars work with academics in fields related to their own, pursue research or professional and artistic projects, offer seminars, and develop creative connections. Projects are sought in all disciplines, with competitive applications demonstrating alignment with the host’s strategy, goals, or new areas of mutual interest.
The award combines academic exchange with Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between the United States and other countries. Alongside their primary activities, scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community. The award is listed under the Teaching/Research activity type.
