Description
The Rheumatology Research Foundation’s Investigator Award supports junior investigators conducting innovative research into the cause, prevention, and treatment of rheumatic diseases. It helps investigators who have completed postdoctoral fellowship training continue their research while establishing themselves as independent investigators and becoming competitive for more significant funding.
The award is part of the Foundation’s Career Development Research Awards, which encourage early- and mid-career investigators to sustain rheumatic disease research and advance treatments and cures. Alongside the standard award, the Foundation highlights opportunities for research on next-generation lupus diagnostics and curative treatments, as well as novel research addressing adult dermatomyositis.
