    Description

The Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF) Investigator Awards support transformative research addressing critical questions in neuroendocrine cancer biology and removing barriers to therapeutic development. Projects must advance at least one pillar of NETRF’s Research Roadmap: early detection, new therapeutic development, or precision medicine. The foundation primarily supports basic and translational research, with select clinical research considered when especially compelling and positioned to accelerate progress for patients.

Awards support a defined two-year project, typically organized around two aims or three smaller aims, comparable in scope to an NIH R21 grant. Projects usually have a single principal investigator, with or without collaborators. NETRF welcomes international applications and strongly encourages collaboration across scientific disciplines.
