Funding Amounts: Long-term: JPY 387,600/month (2–10 months); Short-term: JPY 18,000/day (14–60 days); plus airfare, insurance, and research support up to JPY 150,000.

Description
The Invitational Fellowships for Research in Japan, administered by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), offer opportunities for distinguished overseas researchers to engage in collaborative research, discussions, and academic exchange with Japanese colleagues. The program aims to advance international scientific cooperation and foster research partnerships across all fields of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Two fellowship types are available: Long-term (2–10 months) and Short-term (14–60 days), each supporting mid-career to senior researchers for research visits to Japan.
