The Iowa Culture Leadership Cohort is a two-year professional development and organizational capacity-building program for Iowa-based nonprofit arts and culture organizations. The program provides leadership training, peer learning, mentorship, and technical assistance, aiming to strengthen participant organizations’ operations, sustainability, and programming. Participants benefit from in-person workshops, statewide networking, and tailored support from consultants and mentors. The program is a collaboration between the Iowa Arts Council (a division of the Iowa Economic Development Authority) and the State Historical Society of Iowa.
