The ISF/ESCMID Sepsis Award is a collaboration between the International Sepsis Forum (ISF) and the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID). It recognizes an individual’s outstanding contribution to sepsis and promotes people who have made significant progress in the field. The award forms part of ESCMID’s support for researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals from around the world participating in ESCMID Global.
The distinction goes to the presenter of the highest-rated sepsis-related abstract, selected by the ISF steering committee. It is presented at a symposium jointly hosted by ISF and the ESCMID Global programme committee, where the recipient presents the award-winning research.
