Summary: Supports early career or trainee research on non-invasive molecular and genetic biomarkers in advanced organ failure and post-transplant care.
Key Information: Applicant and mentor (if trainee) must be ISHLT members.
This grant supports innovative research focused on the clinical implications and/or utility of non-invasive molecular and/or genetic testing for patients with advanced organ failure or in post-transplant care. The program is designed to encourage studies addressing pre-transplant, post-transplant, and/or mechanical circulatory support (MCS) patient populations. The intent is to foster the development of early career researchers and mentored trainees, advancing the understanding and application of molecular and genetic biomarkers in these clinical settings.
