Description
The ISID-LEO Foundation Awards recognize young scientists whose work has made an extraordinary contribution to skin research and could pave the way for new or improved treatments for skin diseases. The awards are intended to advance understanding and treatment of skin diseases while strengthening the pipeline of dermatology researchers.
Since 2026, the LEO Foundation has partnered with the International Society for Investigative Dermatology (ISID) on the awards. ISID administers the open self-nomination process. After review by an independent international expert panel, ISID recommends recipients to the LEO Foundation’s Board, which makes the final decisions. One award is made annually in each of the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions.
