Description
The ISID-LEO Foundation Awards recognize outstanding young scientists worldwide whose work represents an extraordinary contribution to skin research and has the potential to lead to new and improved treatments for skin diseases. The awards aim to advance understanding and treatment of these diseases, strengthen the pipeline of excellent dermatology researchers, and boost promising researchers’ careers.
From 2026, the awards are run through a partnership between the LEO Foundation and ISID. ISID administers applications and arranges peer review by an independent, international expert panel. It then recommends winners to the LEO Foundation’s Board, which makes the final decisions. One award is made annually in each of three regions: Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), and Asia-Pacific.
