The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) Continuing Medical Education Program supports faculty presenting at local and regional nephrology events in low-, lower-middle-, and upper-middle-income countries. It sponsors expert speakers who supplement local faculty and share clinical care and research knowledge with doctors, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Support is directed toward educational events rather than standalone research projects.
The program helps organizers develop scientific agendas addressing local challenges and clinical program development. It favors regional collaboration, relationships with experts who can provide mentoring, and opportunities for young professionals to engage with ISN’s advocacy, research, and training activities. Any nephrology topic may be considered, with strong preference for alignment with ISN’s strategic priorities. The program does not provide CME credits; obtaining accreditation is the organizers’ responsibility.
