    Description

The International Society of Nephrology’s Educational Ambassadors Program helps renal centers in resource-low countries host experts for practical, hands-on training. Visits support new or improved services, educational curricula, and community-based research or screening programs. Training may address acute and chronic dialysis, interventional nephrology, renal pathology, transplantation, peritoneal dialysis, CKD management, and nurse or technician skills.

The program prioritizes sustainable projects that address local training needs and improve renal care. It encourages participation by allied professionals and continued interaction between the host center and ambassador after the visit. It also complements other ISN programs, allowing returning ISN Fellows and Sister Renal Centers partnerships to build on earlier training and service-development initiatives.
