ISN Mini-Meets are virtual meetings supported by the International Society for Neurochemistry through its Conference Committee (ISN-CC). They focus on a specific area of neurochemistry or neurochemistry-related education, bringing together three to four speakers for presentations, questions, and discussion. ISN supplies its Zoom webinar platform and promotes the event. Each session lasts no more than 90 minutes.
The program fosters scientific dialogue, collaboration, and the free exchange of ideas around specialized, topical, or timely subjects. Scientific quality, speakers’ fit with the theme, and geographic and gender balance inform assessment. International, preferably intercontinental, participation is encouraged, with scheduling designed to accommodate audiences worldwide. Including an up-and-coming early-career researcher is encouraged where appropriate. With written speaker permission, recorded presentations may be shared in the members’ section of the ISN website.
