    Description

The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) Renal Pathology Bursaries support participation in major educational events that develop renal pathology expertise. The program is an initiative of the ISN Renal Pathology Working Group, which works to bridge gaps in expertise and diagnostic provision through knowledge and resource exchange within and across regions.

The bursaries help pathologists, nephrologists, and trainees access specialist education, connect with international experts and peers, and share research. They focus on low-, lower-middle-, and upper-middle-income countries, where limited diagnostic expertise can hamper early detection and effective treatment of kidney disease. Through contributions toward attendance costs and online registrations, the program aims to strengthen local renal pathology services and improve patient care.
