The Israel Program Research Fellowship brings leading mid-career and senior scholars and practitioners to Harvard Kennedy School for six-week research residencies during the fall or spring term. Fellows receive access to Harvard’s libraries and other resources to pursue an independent project on a critical public policy question relevant to Israel and the broader Middle East.
The fellowship is administered through the Middle East Initiative’s Israel Program and supported by the Lauren and Philip Siegel Family Foundation Fund. It advances rigorous, policy-relevant analysis of Israel as an integral part of the region and strengthens Harvard Kennedy School’s role as a hub for forward-looking regional analysis. Proposals may address any policy-relevant question about Israel and its place in the Middle East.
