    Description

The ISTH Training Fellowship Program supports early-career clinicians and scientists undertaking short-term training at host institutes recognized for expertise in thrombosis and hemostasis. Run by the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), it aims to strengthen knowledge in medical and clinical care, laboratory methods, and basic or clinical research. Training may involve learning a clinical subspecialty, acquiring a laboratory or research technique, or undertaking a short-term collaborative project. Support is designated for work in bleeding disorders, clotting disorders, and basic or clinical research.

The program also includes the ISTH-INVENT Fellowship, offered with the International Network of Venous Thromboembolism Clinical Research Networks. This joint fellowship focuses on conducting clinical research trials and building relationships that promote international collaboration, with partial support from INVENT.
