    Description

The Institute of Translational Health Sciences (ITHS) offers Voucher Awards to provide timely, project-specific support for translational research. The program supports work addressing a critical transition anywhere along the translational path, from basic laboratory research to disseminated diagnostic or therapeutic use. Applicants must explain how the requested service would enable a research goal that might otherwise be unattainable.

Awards provide access to ITHS fee-for-service resources rather than cash funding. Services include biostatistics, bioethics, biomedical informatics, research coordination, data and safety monitoring, regulatory monitoring, and clinical support through specialized research units. The program particularly supports investigators with limited discretionary research funding who are pursuing innovative, high-risk ideas, with additional consideration for Early Stage Investigators and New Investigators.
