The International Team for Implantology (ITI) Scholarship Program supports dental professionals advancing their clinical and research training in implant dentistry. Scholars spend one year at university departments or clinics worldwide, mentored by experienced ITI Fellows. Each center organizes its own program, combining clinical exposure, research, and education according to its specialties and local requirements.
The program cultivates clinical and research excellence while fostering international exchange, cross-cultural learning, and professional networks. Centers are selected for their comprehensive approach to implant treatment and research, aligned with evidence-based care and patient responsibility. Since 1998, ITI has supported more than 600 young clinicians from over 50 countries. Patient treatment is not guaranteed: opportunities depend on local regulations, individual skills, and center policies.
