    Description

The IUBMB Travel Fellowships support international travel for biochemistry and molecular biology trainees to attend international meetings in the IUBMB region. Run by the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the program funds scientific meeting participation rather than a separate research project. Conference attendees must present their work through a poster or oral presentation; applicants attending an advanced course must attend the full course.

The fellowships are intended for Ph.D. students and junior researchers within five years of receiving their Ph.D. Preference is given to applicants traveling to their first scientific meeting. Review considers the applicant’s scientific merit, the proposed research, the meeting’s relevance to their training and professional development, and the strength of the mentor’s recommendation.
