Description
Wisconsin Sea Grant and the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program fund this science-policy fellowship for candidates interested in increasing the resilience of coastal communities across the Great Lakes region. Named for longtime Sea Grant coastal engineering expert Phil Keillor, it offers a recent graduate a full-time, one-year placement within a state agency.
The fellow applies technical skills to water-related challenges involving aquatic resources and Wisconsin policy decisions. Resource professionals serve as mentors, giving the fellow firsthand science-policy experience while supporting science-informed decisions.
