Description
The Jack and Marci McMicken Scholarship Fund is designed to encourage educational advancement among high school students and seniors from the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle who are involved with Amarillo-area bowling associations. The fund specifically supports those with a direct connection—either as members or immediate family members—to the Amarillo Bowling Association, Amarillo Women’s Bowling Association, or Amarillo Young Bowling Alliance. The scholarship is administered by the Amarillo Area Foundation but is unique in that it does not utilize the foundation’s general scholarship application.
