Description
The Jack McDaniel Memorial Fellowship is a short-term educational fellowship sponsored by AO Trauma North America through its Named Fellowships program. It supports North American orthopedic residents and fellows specializing in trauma surgery for one to three months at a European AO trauma center. The award recognizes exceptional interest in orthopedic trauma and provides an immersive clinical educational experience rather than a separate research project grant.
Named in memory of surgeon Jack McDaniel, the fellowship has been awarded annually to a single outstanding surgeon committed to teaching and the clinical practice of fracture surgery.
