Description
The Jackson County Community Foundation (JCCF), a local affiliate of the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), awards grants annually with donor support and in partnership with FAO. Gifts to JCCF’s endowment are invested, and earnings return to the community through grants to nonprofits, schools and public organizations serving Jackson County residents.
The program supports projects and programs across five Pillars of Prosperity: arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services. Its emphasis is on supporting people of all ages who are spearheading work that creates opportunities, meets pressing needs and unleashes potential within Jackson County. Funded work has included food assistance, youth services, mental health education, community spaces and cultural programming.
