Description
The James Davis Scholarship is awarded by Rare Book School (RBS) to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional good citizenship and stewardship within the bibliographical community and are seeking to attend RBS for the first time. The scholarship covers the full tuition (including deposit) for one RBS course (either in-person or qualifying online format) and aims to foster greater access for those who have contributed meaningfully to the field of bibliography, book history, or related areas. Recipients are responsible for all additional costs, such as travel, lodging, and meals. Rare Book School, based at the University of Virginia, is known for its intensive, hands-on training in bibliography and book history.
