Description
The fellowship offers third- and fourth-year radiology residents an immersive, two-week experience focusing on economic and health policy issues relevant to radiology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, and medical physics. Participants engage with the American College of Radiology (ACR) Economics and Health Policy Department, attend high-level meetings (including an AMA CPT Editorial Meeting or AMA/Specialty Society RVS Update RUC meeting), and contribute to departmental projects. The program is designed to expose residents to reimbursement strategies and policy development, with both virtual and in-person components. Fellows are expected to complete an evaluation and submit a scholarly article about their experience to the Journal of the American College of Radiology (JACR®) or ACR Bulletin.
