Description
The Japan Foundation runs this fellowship to support reciprocal opportunities for individuals working across diverse arts and cultural fields. Fellows undertake research, creative activities, collaborative projects, or network-building initiatives outside their country of residence for a defined period. International exchange is central to the program, which seeks to build strong relationships between Japan and ASEAN countries and strengthen multifaceted human networks across the region.
The fellowship forms part of the Japan Foundation’s “Partnership to Co-create a Future with the Next Generation: WA Project 2.0,” a comprehensive people-to-people exchange initiative. A central priority is nurturing the next generation of professionals who will lead collaborations and co-creations across arts and culture, contributing to next-generation exchange and human resource development in Japan and ASEAN.
