Description
This annual travel grant, funded by Simon & Schuster and administered by the American Library Association (ALA), is designed to support Black/African American youth or teen services librarians and school librarians/media specialists working in public or school libraries in the United States or Canada. The grant enables recipients to attend the ALA Annual Conference, covering travel, housing, registration, and a ticket to the Coretta Scott King Awards Breakfast. The program aims to foster professional development, networking, and the sharing of fresh perspectives within the library community.
