Description
Jazz Road is a national initiative designed to support U.S.-based jazz artists through two primary grant opportunities: Jazz Road Tours and Jazz Road Creative Residencies. The program aims to expand the reach of jazz by enabling artists to tour new communities and develop artist-led residencies focused on artistic creation or audience connection. Managed by South Arts in partnership with Mid-America Arts Alliance and other Regional Arts Organizations, Jazz Road is committed to diversity, inclusion, and equitable artist compensation. The initiative is artist-centric and supports artists at various career stages, prioritizing projects with significant career impact and engagement with new or underserved audiences.
