Description
The Jeanie S. McCoy Scholarship, offered by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), recognizes and supports an outstanding woman who is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in science or engineering with a focus relevant to tribology. The scholarship aims to encourage women to advance in the field by subsidizing their education and research, with selection based on academic achievement, a publication-quality essay, a recommendation letter, and extracurricular involvement. The recipient’s essay will be published in Tribology & Lubrication Technology (TLT) magazine, and the winner is recognized at the STLE Annual Meeting.
