Description
The Jeanne S. Chall Research Fellowship, offered by the International Literacy Association (ILA), provides a US$5,000 grant to encourage and support promising scholars engaged in research on reading and literacy. The fellowship is designed to advance knowledge in areas such as beginning reading, readability, reading difficulties (diagnosis, treatment, and prevention), stages of reading development, the relationship between vocabulary and reading, and effective strategies for diagnosing and teaching adults with limited reading ability.
