This program funds collaborative research efforts aimed at advancing health equity in Virginia. It supports projects that address root causes and systemic barriers to health, with a focus on policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) change strategies, program/practice analysis, and general research. The program offers two mechanisms: Partnership/Collaborative Establishment Awards for building new or strengthening existing collaborations, and Research Awards for established teams (previous Partnership Awardees) to conduct in-depth research projects.
