The Jennifer C. Groot Memorial Fellowship is designed to assist undergraduate or graduate students from North America—specifically those with little or no prior archaeological field experience—in joining archaeological excavations or surveys in Jordan. Established in memory of Jennifer Groot, a pioneering archaeologist and mentor, the fellowship aims to foster early-career archaeologists while commemorating Groot's dedication to education and research in Jordan.
