Description
The Jeremy Norman Scholarship is administered by Rare Book School (RBS), based at the University of Virginia. It provides full tuition for RBS coursework to applicants from all fields whose work or interests focus on the study of the physical book. The scholarship supports formal learning within RBS’s teaching program rather than an independent research project.
Under RBS’s general award terms, supported study can take place through an in-person course, one 22-hour online course, or two short online courses. The award is restricted to courses administered by RBS and cannot be transferred to other rare book schools or related programs. Recipients receive tuition credit for a course to which they are subsequently admitted.
