    Description

The Jewell Schweitzer Quality of Life Grant Program FY27 is administered by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) to support agencies making a positive impact on key issues in Springfield–Greene County. Proposals must address red-flag issues identified in the 2026 Community Focus Report, released October 2, 2026. The report provides the focus for funded work, connecting proposed projects to the community concerns it identifies.

Innovative ideas are strongly encouraged, and the selection committee will not treat the risk of failure as a deterrent. The program also encourages partnerships and collaborative efforts, although neither is required. Applicants may describe collaboration in their applications and outline matching, leverage, and in-kind opportunities in their budgets.
