Description
This grant supports academic projects designed to foster a deeper understanding of Japan, such as conferences, symposia, presentations, and lectures, held in the United States or virtually. Funding is intended to strengthen Japanese Studies at the applicant’s institution and contribute to the broader academic field. Eligible expenses include honoraria, travel, accommodation, research materials, printing, online content creation, and venue or equipment rental (excluding facilities within the applicant institution). Priority is given to projects with additional funding from sources beyond the Japan Foundation.
